Hersh is dead. I have no words. :(
"With broken hearts, the Goldberg-Polin family is devastated to announce the death of their beloved son and brother, Hersh. The family thanks you all for your love and support and asks for privacy at this time."
How many more hostages will die before this nightmare is over?
Update, with the names of all of those murdered with Hersch:

Extraordinarily awful tragedy. :( May he RIP and condolences to his family. :(
I think that Israel should accept whatever deal Biden is proposing in regards to this (hostage release in exchange for a Gaza ceasefire), at least if such a deal will actually be fair to Israel:

That way, either the remaining hostages get released or Hamas will be exclusively to blame if they won't be and Israel can continue the war.
Seems like Hamas is willing to give up its rule in Gaza as a part of negotiations:

A bluff, or actually something serious? Israel should find out.
Sorry X, but as an Israeli, no freaking way. I don't agree with Bibi on everything, but he's right that we need to keep the Philadelphi Corridor. We've given up too much to risk it on a "bluff". I don't trust Hamas, or any Gazan. And we certainly don't need Biden sticking his demented mind in thinking we need to do more. Fuck him.
I'm also an Israeli citizen (well, a dual Israeli-US citizen), FWIW. But I don't live in Israel, so maybe your opinion on this should count more than mine?
I do agree with you that it would be highly desirable for Israel to hold onto the Philadelphi Corridor so that arms and whatnot won't be able to be smuggled into Gaza from Egypt in the future. If a hostage deal can be negotiated that will allow Israel to keep this corridor, though, then that would be a good idea, no?
